77th Independence Day Celebrations on 15th August 2023
9th INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA (21-06-2023)
According to NCISM letter dated 19-06-2023, 9th International Day of Yoga (IDY) Celebrated at Tipu Sultan Unani Medical College & Hospital, Kalaburagi (Karnataka) on 21st June 2023.
Institute conducted Huge Rally on 20th June 2023 from College and joined the Main District Rally at Jagat Circle to Mini Vidhan Sabha to propagate and promote YOGA.
More than 150 students from college participated in Rally, and they take active part and performed Asanas of Yoga on next day of International Yoga Day i.e., 21st June 2023.
The Staff members Dr. Iliyas Mulla, Dr. Aqueela Nausheen, Dr. Tasneem Firdous, Dr. Rukhaiya & Dr. Fatima Bi along with students participated in the program at Chander Shekhar Patil Stadium Kalaburagi organized by Department of Ayush, Kalaburagi District.
WORLD UNANI DAY 11 FEBRUARY 2023
Tipu Sultan Unani Medical College & Hospital, Gulbarga (Karnataka) has celebrated World Unani Day to marks the Birth Anniversary of HAKEEM AJMAL KHAN on 11th February 2023. The program was presided by the President of Tipu Sultan Shaheed Educational Trust ADVOCATE AZEEMUDDIN SAB under the patronage of Principal DR. RUKSANA. The program was graced by the presence of Senior Professors Dr. Shabana Farooqui & Dr. Shafeeque Ahmed. On the ocation of Unani Day so many events organized like Elocution, Essay Writing competition, Quiz Competition, Unani Expo 2023 etc. The complte programe was hosted by DR. MOHAMMED ILIYAS MULLA Asso. Professor, DR. TASNEEM FIRDOUS, Assist. Professor.
President Advocate Azeemuddin Sahab, Dr. Rukhsana Principal & Dr. Shabana and many students delivered speech about Hakeem Ajmal Khan and Unani System of Medicine in Modern Era. In account of Unani Day, Free Camp organized on 16th February 2023. In the camp 100’s of people participated and get free medicines.
